RPD Technology Added to UTM to Block Spam and Viruses in Real-Time
Sunnyvale, CA and Gothenburg, Sweden – March 28, 2007 – Halon Security and Commtouch (NASDAQ: CTCH) announced today that they have entered into an agreement to add Commtouch anti-spam and Zero-Hour™ Virus Outbreak Protection to Halon Security’s secure and flexible Unified Threat Management appliances.
Sweden-based Halon will integrate the Commtouch email security solution into its SX Security Gateway series. Halon’s flexible, scalable network solutions are marketed to small and mid-sized enterprises in Europe, Asia and the United States. Now its customers will benefit from an added layer of built-in real-time defense against spam and email-borne virus outbreaks.
