Commtouch Signs Nine New OEM Agreements in Third Quarter of 2007

82 Vendors Trust Commtouch to Protect Clients Against Spam and Malware

Sunnyvale, Calif., October 8, 2007 – Commtouch® (Nasdaq: CTCH) announced today that nine new companies licensed its email defense technology during the third quarter of 2007, bringing the total number of OEM partners to 82. These vendors represent companies providing managed services, secure messaging, and security hardware, among others.

“The third quarter was another strong quarter in terms of new partners signed, continuing our earlier momentum,” said Gideon Mantel, Commtouch’s CEO. “One of our objectives for 2007 was to sign 30 OEM deals, and we have nearly achieved this target already at the end of Q3. These new agreements, together with our existing partner base, are laying the foundation for our future growth in 2008.”

New spam and virus tactics are continuously emerging that enable huge quantities of unwanted email to bypass traditional filters. In fact, more than 58% of end-user organizations are seeking new anti-spam vendors, according to a May 2007 study by Osterman Research, creating a significant opportunity for Commtouch and its OEM partners.

“Winning the trust of companies in so many critical service areas speaks highly about the value of our three security offerings,” Mantel said. “We are committed to providing our partners with the highest level of service, and offering them additional technologies to help them grow their business.”

NOTE: Commtouch does not individually announce every licensing agreement due to a number of considerations, including confidentiality agreement restrictions.
