Commtouch InTouch
Dear Partners and Friends,

Several of us at Commtouch have just returned from a series of whirlwind trips to meet with dozens of current and potential partners and friends, most recently CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, followed by RSA in San Francisco. The energy at both shows was fantastic, and the messaging and web security markets are clearly going strong, especially in light of the ever-changing tricks the bad guys keep launching.

Commtouch drew some attention with the launch of GlobalView™ Zombie Intelligence Service, our first entry into the web security market. And a main point of interest was the feedback loop among the various Commtouch services, which enables a comprehensive self-learning system, automatically feeding new information into the mix from multiple sources.

To stay up to date on the latest email and web security issues (and to check out pics from our anti-zombie party at RSA), be sure to check out the Commtouch Café Blog.

Regards,

  • Anti-Zombie Service Launched
Launched in early April, this new OEM anti-zombie solution targets vendors of IPS/IDS, anti-fraud, and anti-DDoS, providing them with real-time, actionable data about zombie activity and their IP addresses.

"No sector is immune from the threat of zombies," said Amir Lev, Commtouch's chief technology officer and president. "Companies are at risk from data leakage and distributed denial of service attacks, banks and their customers may be targeted for fraudulent activities such as financial scams and identity theft and Internet media companies lose revenue daily from click fraud."
