It is with great sadness that we mourn the tragic death of Nahum and Nava Sharfman in a light aircraft crash in Greece on Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
Nahum, together with Amir Lev and myself founded Commtouch in 1991, and was essential in driving the vision of the company forward throughout the years. When he stepped down from the executive team of the company he remained active as a board member. Nahum was one of the pioneers in Israeli high tech, founding several successful companies, and remaining involved in them all. He was a positive person in nature, who always infused even the most difficult times with his optimism. Nahum built the foundation for the unique Commtouch spirit that we at Commtouch enjoy every day.
Nahum and Nava were personal friends to us and to our families, and they will be in our hearts forever.
